Day 133- Living "Body"

This is part of the series “Living Words"
There is an EQAFE interview however I don't remember which one- that talks about the body and how we compare others to our own bodies and how we judge our bodies in comparison to other's bodies. In the interview it was explained that people focus on certain body parts and built an emotional/mind relationship with them and begin to judge/compare themselves to others. So as a practice to remove judgments/comparisons- it was suggested to look at the body as a whole (its function) and not just pieces of it (certain attached emotions/definitions). I walked this point a long time ago so here I am going to simply give a simple definition of the word body.

Some ways to sound out the word body:
-can't think of any

Redefinition: Body: The physical expression/composition of myself that is here to support me being in the psychical world.

Day 132- Living "Happiness"

This is part of the series “Living Words"
Something I have come to realize within walking the Desteni Process is that happiness is not a feeling (which would usually be described as feeling “high” inside your body). It is not something that just happens (happiness) to you and cannot be lived thought self interest. And it is also not dependent on material things. So what is happiness then?

Some ways to sound out the word happiness:

-happens (as something happening)
-happy-nest (as a space/home/something of comfort)
-appliness (as applying something)

Redefinition: Happiness: Creating a space of stability and expression to move around in directions that are practical, handling things (problem solving) moment by moment without reactions (feeling and emotions) and the freedom to explore possibilities based on what is here in each moment. It is not like a “child getting candy”, but like a person accomplishing a task because you are proud of yourself.

Day 131- Living "Expression/Self Expression"

This is part of the series “Living Words"
Walking the Desteni Process, the first lesson I remember learning was what expression means -what it means to express oneself- that is not coming from a feeling/emotions but inner stability.

Some ways to sound out the word expression:

-express-I-on
-expert-ion
-ex-press-I-on
-ex-pressure

Redefinition: Expression/Self Expression: A decision/movement that is expressed on the outside (my actions) but comes from a stability point on the inside (not reactive). If the action that is being expressed comes from a movement on the inside then I am acting on an emotion/feeling thus the action is not decided by “me” but by my emotions/feelings.

Day 130- Living "Freedom"

This is part of the series “Living Words"
I think that there are two ways that have been used to define “freedom”. One way is the freeing oneself from being oppressed so through revolution/rebelling. The other way is through being patriotic and defending something you think represents freedom and you would fight to keep it. Obviously both of these definitions are not what the word freedom stands for as both definitions come from the starting point of energy, an illusion that is fed through our minds which we then live out through our physical actions. It is anything but stable. Let's dive deeper and look at this word from a different perspective of how one can live “freedom”. I personally fall into the first way of defining freedom- through rebelling, feeling oppressed which is how I have been in a humble way living this word.

Some ways to sound out the word freedom:

-free-the -dome (as in space/area)
-feed-the dome
-free-dom (standing as dominating)
-flee-dom (as in running away)

Redefinition: Freedom: To live in inner stability and outer equality realizing that we are all interconnected as life and thus practicing freedom as choosing to do that which is best for all. How do you get there? Well that is the Desteni Process which is why I am here redefining these words for myself one step/breath at a time.
